Pottery kept me steady. I got obsessed with one question: what does the perfect drinking vessel feel like in your hand?
Ceramic breaks. I wanted something a man would look after. An heirloom, not a mug. So I switched to wood.

The CHUUG 30 Year Guarantee.
If your CHUUG fails through any fault of ours, we'll repair it or replace it. That covers the wood, the rope, the brass medallions, the stainless steel inner, the seal, and the finish. For 30 years from the date of purchase.
Not twelve months. Not five years. 30 years.
Manufacturing or material defects in any part of the CHUUG itself. Cracks, splits or seal failures in the wood. Rope-handle separation or fraying through normal use. Loose or detached brass medallion or initial. Stainless inner deformation. Finish degradation that isn't normal patina.
Water damage to the wood. The removable metal inner is the only part that goes near a sink or dishwasher - the wood should only ever be wiped with a damp cloth. Loss, theft, or the CHUUG that fell off your boat. Accidental drops onto concrete (we've all done it). Deliberate damage. Use as a hammer or a kettlebell - though we'd like to see the photo. Personalisation typos on medallions you approved at checkout.
Email a photo and your order number to info@chuug.com. Lee, our Head of Operations, handles every claim personally. We'll come back inside two working days with one of three answers: repair, replace, or (rarely) refund.
